Whats going on is that they are in the relegation zone. Could be us soon if we don't buck up the ideas!

Wonder what the odds are on Tisdale being the replacement? In which case, would it make getting Matt Taylor off them easier? (Assumming he doesn't move for him himself.)

I'm sure Tisdale's turned down bigger jobs than the Gas in the recent past?

I read somewhere that Tisdale has a young family he doesnt want to uproot so i suppose if he fancied a change he would be able to take the Rovers job and not have to move.

Trollope had done a decent job but things definately seem to have got a bit stale down there, probably the right move for both parties.

If I am reading this correctly, it suggests that Paul will be on paid garden leave for a full 9 months (assuming it's a 12 monthly roll, and not a single monthly roll!)?! If that's true that's a LOT of money down the drain for Rovers...

"In September 2009 Trollope signed a new 12-month rolling contract and took on the title of manager rather than first team coach"

When Trollope took over with Lawrence, Rovers had been bottom half Div 4 for a few years, in fact had 2 down been in place around 03, they'd have been Conference bound. So he did achieve something....could be in the right place at the right time if we lose to Tranny Saturday.

How about we get Tisdale, Exeter can have Trollope and if they want him Rovers can have Wilson. A 3 step waltzy shuffle.

You only want Tisdale, so that you can start wearing cravats to matches....Wilson to Rovers might seem unlikely, but Fred Ford did the triangle of Shitty, Rovers and STFC.

Pretty much.

Or at least to the pub before matches.
