Doesn't bother me in the slightest but seems to annoy other people. Anyone got any good suggestions to either stop it or limit the amount of noise I make when sleeping?

get 3 whistles, tape one into your closed mouth and the other two into your nostrils. After a few days of snore-whistling your partner will be more than happy to go back to old normal snoring.

Lose weight, give up smoking/drinking. Get fit. Sometimes snoring can be an indication of an underlying health issue so if it is something that has started recently best to see your GP.

A "friend" was told by his missus he kept waking her up with his snoring until he got some of those Robbie Fowler strips for his nose - puts them on just before he goes to sleep and not only does his missus not complain (well not about the snoring) but he's getting a better night's sleep as well. Tescos have got them - BreatheRight, they're called apparently. So my "friend" reckons, anyway. Ahem.

Guaranteed to work permanently. Place clingfilm over mouth & nose before you go to sleep.

I went and saw a doc about it some time back and talked with a consultant about an op. I think it only had a 70% success rate or something and had a few other negatives that I forget now. It never affected my sleep so I decided to leave everything as it is.

My girlfriend snores like an athsmatic Darth Vader... those nose strips worked for her. I had earplugs for a bit, but kept missing my alarm

I'd check out a condition called sleep apnoea. If anyone has it, it doesn't give a fuck what they do until its diagnosed. The cure is 100% effective. If the snoring builds up into a crescendo, stops and starts building up again then there's a good chance you've got it. If you're tired during the day or take naps during the day ( other than lazy scrounging student cunts ) then I'd get it checked out. But you'll probably need to tell your GP what you suspect rather than wait for them to make the diagnosis.
