Definately my favourite manager at the moment. Says what he's thinking, honest and open.

We missed out there...definately just on match interviews!!

Agreed. Losing would be a lot more enjoyable as we'd have his post match rants to look forward to.

Self centered really, end of the day he deliberatly showed up at Town games even though we had a manager, would be different if we had no manager but very disrespectful towards the club.

Christ alive does brain washing come with the Danny Wilson sponsership package? At least it showed he wanted the job, heaven forbid someone wanting to see what they 'might' end up managing.

What he has done with Blackpool is nothing short of remarkable and along the way he is causing a bit of a stir in the Premiership which i commend him for.

True about seeing who he "might" be managing but Malpas was still in charge, as shit as Malpas was there was a manager in place it's a bit like you working for a company and someone coming sitting beside you to see what you are doing on the offchance they get your job and your sacked.

IIRC it wasn't that he went to a couple of matches, so much as rather than approaching the club and asking if he could come along as a guest (which would be the normal protocol) he just turned up in the Town End which was clearly intended to stir things up a bit and hype himself up as a candidate.

But he is ace at Blackpool

But he's a member of the public. He came to a football match. You can clearly see he loves his football. If he was in the area, and there was nothing else to do....

Bollocks. He was an ex-manager at the time. He knows the protocol and he knew very well what the effect would be of his turning up unannounced like that
