Wilson obviously rates Caddis as he's been chasing him for a while now. I think he had a few good games for Celtic as well, which was the reason his loan move in January ended up not going ahead. A good few of the Celtic fans seem to rate him as well.
Besides, as he's border line to making the Celtic 1st team squad he should do a job for us shouldn't he?

Well despite some doubtful comments from Celtic supporters, Caddis has caught quite a lot of attention up here, and has shown himself to be both a competent defender and skilled attacker, with a brilliant cross. H eplayed a number of times in the middle of last season for Celtic's first team, and in one of the friendlies in their current tour of USA was MOM. He is well thought of in the SPL

A couple of quotes from Celtic fans mainly i suppose "Caddis is a cracking player. I actually think he's better than Hinkel, who was on the verge of Germany's World cup squad. Good pace, and an outstanding cross. If he plays regularly I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a Scotland call up.""Caddis, £700k
The same guy who at just 20 had Ronaldinho and Henry in his back pocket when we played Barca in the CL last 16, he has so much ability it's untrue, he has every bit of potential to become Celtic's Alan Hutton who went to Spurs for £9m after one good season at Rangers, letting him go for peanuts at this stage is madness!
If Swindon manage to get him, fair play, you've got an absolute gem on your hands."Seems like he could be a good league 1 player?

ferry left of midfield? a midfield 4 of mcgovern, douglas, prutton and ferry is way too good for this division. skills Prutton can play wide right, JPM on the left.

I've never seen Caddis play, but if he's atleast as good as Cuthbert , Hutchinson and Ferry then he'll do for me.
Loving the comments above from the Celtic fans.
Let's hope Wilson pulls it off.

When you're trying to get into the Championship that's sort of the idea you senile old twat I reckon that was another factor in Greer going - Doncaster releasing him shows he isn't a Championship player. Whilst Cuthbert, LJF, Morrison might not be yet either at least they've got age on their side and the potential to improve which Greer hasn't. Fitton and Wilson have always said they're building for the future which means a team of Championship quality players.

Likewise. We all respect LJF for all he had to go through. But he's not in the same class as Greer at CB. I'd assume Morrison would be the starter anyway. But he is not at greers level yet either.

I fucking love the fact that we have the ability to pay fees for players. These signings would be a significant addition to the squad and i think i agree with Juddie it would make me cream my pants. Perhaps our formation would be (based on ferry/caddis signing) Lucas Caddis, Cuthbert, Sean, Rose JPM, Captain Dougie, Prutts, Ferry, Ball Austin A type of 4-5-1 when defending but moving into a 4-3-3 on the break? Bench: Smith, Manks, Pericard, Timlin, Lecs, AOB, A N Other A really strong starting 11 if Morrison is replaced with an old head at the back. If not, i'd rather start LJF
