The lot who were in the lower sections were shit but there was some atmosphere and a good attempt to get people to sing in the gods,I thought the view from up there was impressive aswell.

Gutted about the performance but had we played well and lost i would have been more pissed off.

I think there's a thing to be said for the acoustics at Wembley too tho, because being in the lower tier I could here us singing in our pockets, but couldn't hear you lot in the gods (not saying you weren't) the same as I couldn't barely hear songs from people behind the goal.

I know our support was poor today but just couldn't hear for more than 20 yards or so around me. Is Wembley TOO big for such an occasion?

AMEN. I totally agree with you here. I was shocked to be honest. Extremely pissed off about A bloke taunting my mother & Kid must of been around 10/11 spitting up our coach with a millwall shirt on. YOU HAVE JUST WON, SHOULDN'T YOU BE CELEBRATING. Grow up, is that all you think about. One things for sure, alot of them have alot of anger inside them. Very strange.

Not sure what the collective is for a crowd of retarded, bald, fat, slobbering cunts is, but Millwall have them in abundance.

Why the fuck anyone would want to twat mums, dads and their kids, just because they support another football club is beyond me. That shit is off the human behaviour radar and should be treated with similar disregard for their human rights by the boys in Blue.

Seeing a couple of hundred of them braying like mongs at a school prom as the Town coaches left the car park, all holding up little flags to show who they support and making those throat cutting motions after the game was fucking priceless. It shows the level of their intelect when they'd rather miss their own clubs celebrations by piling outside just to taunt the losing side.

I really fucking wanted us to win promotion today, but I'll take the defeat in the hope that those retards suffer a really long, miserable and humiliating 10/11 season and bounce straight back down the fucking league into oblivion.

No class, respect or humilty.

Stinking, sweaty, cockney Cunts.

I must admit I look at some comments made by football fans like Milwalls and wonder whether they have the right perspective on life.  You know what, I love football,  I love STFC, but you have to wonder about the intelligence of some people who think they have to show their passion through violence.  Grow up.

The line no class, respect or humility I agree with 100%.

It was shit. That fucking Millwall "ooooohhhhhhhhh" was dreadful - but it seemed to work, everytime they did it we shut the fuck up. Not that we made much noise anyway.

Weird experience for me... sang myself hoarse, observed grandparents upbraiding fellow fans for standing up and voicing their support. Very poor show from our end, diabolical even, made me feel ashamed, were it not for the fact I lost my voice chords, shame on them daydrippers

OK perhaps they were frustrating but I don't think blaming the trippers is that clever.  You are allowed to go and support a team for the day and be a whole lot less passionate.

The 7,000-8,000 passionate fans week in week out?  The Arkells?  The DR?  We need to look at ourselves.

Its difficult to get a sustained chant going over such a sustained area for so many so in fact the simple "Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiil" is effective.  If you want 30,000 to give a common chant it needs to be simple.

Playing in bloody red might have given a more obvious "C'mon U Rdz"!  Both the blue and the white looked like STFC away to me but the support was very County Ground on a bad day except with more numerous pockets trying unsuccesfully to get things going.

I agree our support was shit, but when you've got the pissed-up lads trying to lead the songs calling the fans that won't sing 'cunts' (right behind some families with children under ten), smoking at half time and generally being pricks, its hardly motivational. But we were fucking awful today.

I went to the away game at the New Den and saw no trouble and thought just may be they had changed and grown up. But at Wembley our bus was rattled by Millwall fans after the end which is scary for the young ones (why were Millwall even outside yet?) and my older son said they were being pelted with coins INSIDE Wembley. He was in upper tier so not sure where from. I was in Block 237 where there were plenty of 'real' supporters but not much noise. What was it like having to run the gauntlet of these Meanderthals (that was a typo but left it in because a drunk Neanderthal weaves from side to side). on the Bakerloo/Jubilee? Almost back to the old days? I remember when Millwall fans murdered someone at Embankment, 86ish.

From my point of view a crap day out in the end and from the club's point of view I doubt if we'll see many of the extra fans back at the County Ground. But wouldn't have we settled for a mid-table finish after losing 5-0 to Gillingham?

I was in the same block.  I think you called me (and the ten year old kid next to me) a plastic cunt.  Well done.

October 1986. My first weekend in central London as a fresh faced student. Saw the guy in the last few minutes of his life as we wandered by. Had to spend the next couple of years in New Cross gate area when they went top of Div 1. They haven't moved on since then.

i didn't call you anything.nor any kids.
i didn't abuse anybody or swear at anyone.
i would never abuse any individual at football, and would never call a child a cunt.
i moaned out loud at our fans a few times, but that was it.

The pissed up people in my section who were 'trying to lead the chants' were pretty raw with their language too. I'm all for getting people going and I sang my heart out when songs were going, but needlessly saying 'cunt' and 'bollock' probably didn't help things.

They also seemed to be so pissed that they couldn't say 'Wilson' came out more like Wils and instead of the chant 'you've only got one ball, one ball, you've only got one ball' they had it as 'you've only got one bollock'

Green man was great beforehand but seems like some fans peaked to early and were pissed off their tits by Wembley.
