this isn't good or funny really, and said prison is going to get to like porridge..

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-gloucestershire-64965027

and yet...

I couldn't help smile at the clever way of cashing in full price on nicked goods

How was she doing it? Wasn't entirely sure form the article as it said she went to places that didn't require a receipt and that didn't mind exchanging.

When I was about 16/17 I worked in an petrol station and we used to get LOTS of travellers that did everything they could to live up their stereotype around being absolute cunts.

They used to steal oil constantly (and they'd also buy it). Their trick was to walk to the back of the shop, pick up a load of oil and then walk to the front and get a refund on the oil they'd just nicked using the receipt they'd used from a previous purchase.

It was such a hateful experience. They'd often walk in (sometimes in groups), pick shit up and walk out, sometimes even smiling at you as they did it. I was 16 and paid £2.50. Have at it lads, I'm not getting involved.

I assumed she got cash refunds on stuff she nicked, but obviously I missed the bit you quoted.

Read like she was stealing an item, returning it without a reciept for an exchange and getting a reciept and then returning that with the receipt for full refund. Probably at multiple shops.

Paddy’s Day in Athens for me. Weather looks set fair for the weekend, too.

My last hurrah!

One day or day one🤔 the choice is yours!
It's the main difference between ONE DAY, meaning that you are delaying your goals and dreams, and DAY ONE, indicating that you are already working on something. So which one is it? After all, it's your decision.

Horrible ground but still 100 times better than the new Newport ground.

Haven't been to the new one but the old one was a dump😀

Similar story with this one as well although the surroundings were quite nice!
