It's a hundred years since Stonehenge was gifted to the nation.... I remember as a kid there was no problem with access, but as like at Avebury there weren't so many poeple visiting. Into the mid 70's access was OK, but it was into the 80's problems started. Stonehenge had become a part of the tourist trail upping numbers of visitors, so increasing the risk of damage. The same is happening at Avebury now.... the erosion of the henge bank is becoming significant from the footfall, and so may necessitate a ban.

Sorry as much as you'd like it , he's no relation not even a distant one. My Grandfather lived in and worked in Swindon as did my parents hence the connection to the club.

I started that chant at elland road, however I didn’t make it up. I had heard Exeter or torquay( can’t remember which) sing it at the exodus of Brighton fans at the withdean the week before

Someone tell Reg This is the sort of thing I want to see.... evidence. I still find it a puzzle that in the age of social media and the desire to big up the smallest of events, we haven't seen a lot more of all the things which you've seen going on, in the schools of Swindon and District involving our players.

There was loads of precisely this kind of stuff people posted in the other threads where community engagement has been mentioned. You just chose to ignore it, because it didn't fit your argument

Sorry.... you keep saying this but there hasn't been any examples of players in schools after the season ticket thing in the summer at Croft. I know fake news is the zeitgeist... You stated specifically this.... there's been plenty of schools initatives, including 100s of free tickets given out, players and Wellens going into schools to talk to the kids, take training sessions etc. I'm not ignoring anything.... just you haven't provided any examples of Wellens and players in schools, neither has anyone one else, until this RLK visit by the young keepers. My original point about links between the club and fans as being broken, I think holds up.... hence the 92nd in the list thing and Wellens himself flagging up, that we don't feel like a club to him more a side and it's something to work on. Lot of work still to do.....

Very much enjoyed the Coventry one His name is a shop His name is a shop Lennel John-Lewis His name is a shop And a song with a dance is great, as demonstrated by the City fans on the tube platform doing the Toure one.
