Primary teaching, year 5/6 class. Moved back to Oxford from London, to work in a nice school with a field (unheard of in London, most of them don't even have a playground there!)

Interestingly (or possibly not) mym mates missus moved in with him on Oxon from London and transferred to a school Oxfordshire from an inner city London one at the same time. She lasted about 13 months and jacked it in as she said the oxfordshire kids were stuck up litle sods and hard to teach whilst those in London as they hadnt seen fields and wildlife were really lovely to inspire. |

Some of the Wiltshire FC age groups have a game against Swindon Academy in May. The last academy team they played was Southampton, who they beat 4-0.

Terrified a kid half to death in an exam today. He was looking over to his mates so I crept up behind him, leant over to his level and quietly said 'Please face Forwards'. I thought he was going to have a fucking heart attack, he must have jumped about 6 inches into the air.
Was all I could do not to start laughing. I had to leave the room for a bit so I could stop myself smiling.
