Why is it so wrong to tell dead baby jokes just because the baby was Gary Barlows ? People on here may of lost babies under similar circumstance so to me jokes like that are directed at those people too. Like someone said some people will continue to find sick jokes funny but may think differently if they had lost a child.

The difference is context.
The aforementioned tweets are aimed towards an individual and designed to cause offence as they relate specifically to a presumably recent event in that persons life. A dead baby joke - or any other 'sick' joke - when not addressed directly towards an individual is entirely different but may still cause offence, however, as the intention was not malicious I view it differently.
If one finds humour in something tragic that does not mean they lack empathy.

It's got fuck all to do with it being Gary Barlow's. It has everything to do with it being a malicious attack specifically directed at one individual. |
