In fairness to the poster above, I think that many with anything more than a passing interest in boxing thought that Usyk was likely to win.

indicators seem optional across the board these days. especially if you are stopped at a roundabout  waiting

This. Really pisses me off; surely people can see you waiting to pull out, and realise that you COULD pull out if they can be arsed to indicate. Must be even worse for HGV drivers! One theory I have is that the increasing proliferation of traffic light controlled roundabouts (where indication is pretty pointless) has confused people and got them out of the habit.

If I had a super power, it would be to make people soil themselves if they don't indicate.

Nothing like waiting at a T junction for traffic to turn left and the left turning vehicle indicating at the last possible distance away to do so. Also waiting behind hesitating wankers at roundabouts. They don’t go when they have the time to do so safely and end up pulling away in front of a vehicle coming round the roundabout leaving cars behind them no opportunity to pull away either.

I want to know who is panic buying all this petrol. Much as with the toilet roll shenanigans last year its apparently no one who is on social media.....  Wink Wink

FWIW fuel is like rocking horse shit round here now, people having to travel to Barrow (30-40 mins to get any).

My feeling was that Joshua would get schooled by the master Boxer before clipping him eventually with a lucky shot. Wasn't at all surprised though that Usyk pretty much breezed it. He is brilliant and Joshua is overrated.

I know next to nothing about boxing or the boxers themselves, but for such a big man Joshua appears to lack aggression? (not even sure that's the word I am looking for tbf) He doesn't seem 'nasty' enough.

You are pretty much right. He's never been what you would consider a 'nasty' fighter (ala Mike Tyson, for example), but he seems very hesitant now after being knocked down a good few times his career. I don't think he likes being hit (which may sound silly, but some fighters really enjoy getting whacked as it spurs them on and they can take it) and this is affecting him. He's still a solid fighter. But I can see him getting danced around by Fury and knocked clean out by Wilder.

Anyone do any boxing on here? My dad used to do it in PE  : Cheesy.
I used to have a couple of pairs of gloves and fight with my mates as a kid. Just enjoy battering my punch bag now. Surprising how knackering it is. Good exercise.
