You're wrong!

If you see a Slow Worm its like you are presenting Deadly 60 but without it being deadly or foriegn, its exciting. Slow worms shouldn't really live in England, they're all exotic and fascinating. Rare enough to not be seen a lot but not so rare that you have to make much effort to see one.Slow Worms are perfect.

I don't think I've seen one since I was a kiddy. I'd like to now.

haha i saw your slow worm explosion on twitter and, only after googling just now, realised they aren't a kind of tapeworm. I am underwhelmed

I had a slow worm in the garden a couple of years ago. I thought it was a twig or something, so got a bit closer only to see this snakey type thing, it made me jump back a little.

So I did the manly thing.
I put my hand in a carrier bag, picked it up and lobbed it over the fence.

I should've kept it, I could've sold it to yeo.

We get a lot of slow worms down here, in fact there was a nest at the bottom of our garden before neighbours cats got them all.

If I see one I do the normal manly thing and run inside and hide under the bed.

Donald Trump's hair. I'd love such a glorious barnet.

Which reminded me of this seriously uncomfortable attempt at stand up (31 seconds onwards) on some american show is also worth adding to this thread... Ouch.

I had a quick glance on the Oxford forum this morning (I think its now been long enough since that day) and putting all rivalry aside, thought this was a great gesture from them and not just that, shows that even in the face of adversity how strong willed some people can be. The picture of the little girl with no limbs kicking the ball about immediately made me forget my 'Monday Morning blues'.

Seems I can't copy and paste the link direct - the thread title is called UNITED 4 CHARLOTTE.

Which makes it all the more frustrating that they beat us! Sad
