Sol Campbell. The man has so many chips on his shoulder they could open a Harry Ramsden's franchise.
But more specifically him talking about joining the Tories to oppose a mansion tax. Man with big house in against taxation of it shock. But it's okay because all the blacks will vote for him because he's black (not my interpretation, that's literally what it's being reported he's said). Clearly people vote entirely on race and not on policies or self interest.

I also quite enjoyed his claim that he should replace Neville as an England coach because "I've done all the badges" (although he then goes on to say he's still taking his Pro License, so hasn't, in fact) and, and this is the pearler, "the career I have had should warrant me getting a job". And there, in a nutshell, is so much of what is wrong in professional football in this country

He really considers himself to be a self appointed intellectual doesn't he! I sure we all know one, the person who has read a bit and feels themselves to be that little superior to the rest of us!

He was though....which is why he was picked in the FIFA team as best at the 2002 WC, and he played a key role in Wenger's 03/04 "invincibles"

Best defender the Premier League has had.
Also in the 2004 Euro tournament pick....only man to have played 6 major tournaments for England. I remember seeing him as a kid in the Spurs side v us at WHL in 93.....alongside Colin Calderwood and David Kerslake
