Have no holiday booked from work, am being told i might finish early but no assurance. I need to finish at lunch time to see family that have travelled down from oop North (if Banbury can be refered to as that) before they leave to go home. Therefore ladies, i have these options: -Leave at Lunch without asking, invoking some sort of bad sort of response from employers. -Work until i am told to go home, possibly being late for family thingy, invoking some sort of bad response from all my relatives. -Call in 'sick'. (please note: was 'sick' yesterday Your thoughts please.

We wanna go somewhere else. We're not threatened by people anymore. All our insecurities have evaporated. We're in the clouds now. We're wide open. We're spacemen orbiting the earth. The world looks beautiful from here, man.

Companies suck. Families rock. Call in sick, if you don't you'll regret it and chances are they'll forget about it over the pissed up period anyway. Feck 'em. That's what I say!!!!

Preach on brother village. :Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick I have a dream, that one day, lazy bastards like myself, might have the right, to leave work whenever they like, and still be paid their full pay packets, at the end of the week, and not be subjected, to the brutal regime, of their arsehole bosses (, are for dramatic, Luther-King stylie effect)

Can't beleive how lucky I am someimes, the old flexi means I can stroll in at whatever time I choose and also leave when ever I want. I can also wonder in and out as I please and there is a pub next door \ /. I'd just leave Faring. You have given them plenty of notice and if necessary just take it as unpaid leave. If they start to whinge play the old emotional blackmail card and tell them that it's a really special family occassion to see family you haven't seen in years and that your really disapointed that even after giving pleanty of notice they can't afford you a just few hours off at Christmas.

I'm clearing a space on the end of my dest for you now. Theres is one necessity in the job description - you must wear an Oxford shirt underneath your shirt and tie!
