It's a question, cheers for that!
No problem - my last question (via normal channels) took 3 weeks to get a reply. Using twitter (or if its a long question she'll give you her email address) I had a reply within 5 mins. The account is active from 8am-4pm.

Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov sacking assistant manager Billy Brown after defeat to Dundee United and manager Jim Jefferies resigning in protest. Not really sure what Romanov's issue is at Hearts, the most trigger happy chairman in the UK I would have thought!

My best mate of 20+ years works on the bike section there. Although he does the building rather than the selling - but he is a sweaty chap! although the running bit doesn't sound like him!
The till operator was probably the slow girl everyone takes the piss out of!
By all accounts the manager there is a bit of a dick - but then I dont work there, just know most of the people who do....
Clearly if they believe 2 staff is sufficient for a store of that size. The sweaty chap was from the computer and games section, but got grabbed by me and someone who wanted help in the babies section, because there was nobody else about. Felt sorry for him to be honest.

I would agree they are. What they mean though is most loyal supporters with a 3 sided stadium. I give it to them they most certainly are.

When buying a new pc they only supply you with a poxy recovery partition rather than a proper installation disc. Can I get a copy of Win 7 Starter out of Asus or Microsoft? Can I fuck. I've paid for the OS for fucks sake. All I wanted to do was reinstall to get shot of the partition and all the unnecessary manufacturers bloatware.

Fuck that makes me angry. To take that a stage further, it's even more of a fucking battle matching the key with the correct edition should you get a disk, on win XP anyway, which is likely the worse with about 59 versions of Windows 7.

I completely agree. At work we have over 100 Acer's all that came with Windows 7. They were downgraded to XP and in the process the recovery partition was deleted. Now we need to upgrade them to Windows 7 we have no media or recovery partition!

Rant over. It was basically my new toy, just bought it to try out a few OS's so the plan was always to wipe it. Wanted a copy of Starter just in case I wanted to flog it at some stage. Have upgraded the ram to 2gb manufacturers max, but I'm tempted to get a 4gb stick to try. Anyhow have installed a 64bit copy of Linux Mint 11 and the thing runs like a dream, everything works out of the box including WiFi and Bluetooth, and the network printer was pretty easy to sort too Probably Ubuntu 11.04 next http://uk.asus.com/Eee/Eee_PC/Eee_PC_1015PX/#specificationsBut the question remains, why not sort installation media if the customer requires it, it's not hard is it? Just about money innit

BBC west news presenters one liners after reports. Report on dumped rubbish ends with presenter saying "well that was a mess". And their pathetic attempts at humour which make me cringe. Just read the news you pair of cunts.

Just about money innit Try Puppy as well. I've got that on a old mono-core Thinkpad and it's fast as fuck. It can't run all programs and the repository is small, but for general use it's pretty good.
