it's even worse if you get there just as the doors are closed and the train isn't going to leave for 3 minutes. They still don't let you on. |

That seems quite common nowadays, which I think Lost has a lot to answer for. To spend all that time telling people answers are coming and then not provide them leaves a sour taste in the mouths of audiences I think. I suspect it has also ruined their appetite for these long drawn out serials. I certainly can no longer be bothered to watch something that appears to be a marathon series with twists and questions. I'd much rather watch Luther or something quick, good and gripping. |
