What the fuck are you on about? Why would I be jealous? I also ride a bike, but I stop at red lights because it's safer for everyone to do so and I don't think I'm above the law. You going through a red light is just arrogant and selfish.If I knocked you off your bike as you sped through a red light you may not be alive to tell the old bill that, yes, actually it was your fault not mine, so please don't arrest me for death by dangerous driving. If you had a friend who had been through that total nightmare, on bail for several weeks before a witness was found to save him, and having to deal with the trauma of the accident, you may not be so cocky. Grow up.

If they can navigate roads without putting themselves or other people in danger then I don't mind whether they obey the Highway code.
I'm not saying that I ride through red lights over crossroads at 9am with my eyes shut. I stop for some red lights. But if a pedestrian on a side street has pressed a pelican crossing and finished crossing the road, and there's nobody else crossing or about to cross, I'm going through the red light. If its 2am on a Tuesday, no cars or people anywhere to be seen, I'm going through the red light.
Applying a small amount of common sense, using a little initiative, and not always obeying the computerised system and inflexible law is not arrogant or selfish. Like I said, I don't mind if other people do it too.
You're talking about absolutes, which I don't agree with. Are you absolute in your belief of absolutes? Because if you've ever bent the law in any way then, by your reasoning, you're doing exactly the same thing.
