I had loads of problems with the cycle path from P south to Dorcan way.
Mums taking their kids to school having a pop at anybody on a bike in spite of the fact it was a fucking cycle path. Cycle's are made for cycle paths so fuck off, innit misses.

Yeah, that's the route I take, from Park South through Eldene to Dorcan.

Went right into one kid that ran right out in front of me
I was running late so I was getting some speed up, must have hurt him because my front wheel was completely buckled and beyond repair. The little cunt.

When I worked over at Cheney Manor, I was cycling home and some cunt came flying out of a side road without looking and knocked me flying. I wasn't hurt but my bike was fucked. He stopped, said sorry, then just carried on. I was livid, I couldn't cycle home as my wheel was completely buckled, I had to get my sister to come and pick me up. I managed to track him down though as I got his registration and knew where he worked.
I said to him that I needed £50+ to repair my bike, he just basically said "Well, I don't have any money so can't give you anything". No "sorry, are you OK?" or anything like that.
I told him i'd contacted the Police and they advised me to try and sort it out with him, and if I get no joy to contact them again and they'd deal with it. He mumbled something or other and in the end gave me a cheque for the amount. It was like I was an inconvenience to him. Utter wanker.

Keeping with the cyclist theme. The daft cunts who ride on the road when a designated cycle path is right next to them. Those who ignore traffic lights, what side of the road they should be on,riding the wrong way down one way streets, the morons riding in the dark with no lights on their bike. Cunts the lot of em!!!

Can you really blame us? The cycle paths are all either overgrown or covered in glass. Besides, we have as much right to the road as anyone else - it's not like motorists pay for exclusive use of the national road network.

If cyclists paid Vehicle Excise Duty (road tax hasn't existed for 70+ years), which is based on carbon emissions, they would fall into band A as they generate less than 100 g/km. Annual payment £0 - the same as the owner of a Toyota Prius.

So you are telling me that all the duty i pay is being spent on gas masks for the future generation? I always believed that money that was spent on duty...thats bilions of pounds every decade went into building and maintaining roads, call me old fashioned but i cant see our billions being spent on gas masks. Fact is cyclists take there safety very lightly in my opinion, any numpty who rides a bike with no helmet is insane on todays roads and volume of traffic, even more insane is that it isn't law. Fact is that of course there are bad drivers...and bad cyclists, but there is only one outcome if a cyclist is hit by a car or lorry and so the safety should be more intense, was following a cyclist on the 420 to Oxford today...i pod in ear and no helmet,on a road that is one of the worst in the South of England

The cycle paths in swindon are pretty good. Take Dorcan way for instance. Pricks still ride on the road despite the path running alongside it. The same takes place on Wootton Bassett road,Queens drive, etc. Doesn't look overgrown to me
