I'm sure it's nothing compared to what you live in.

Lying, incompetent, HMRC staff and their shitty, inefficient systems. If they sent me a Jobseekers P45 in March 2010 stating that i was no longer receiving anything, why do they a) still think i'm getting it paid, and b)need it re-sent to calculate my tax refund from a completely unrelated tax year?

Sort of hovers about 33-36, 31 is a cool day. On the odd occasion it drops below 28ish the Thai's are putting their jumpers on. (No, I'm not kidding)
It can reach 38-41 around April. It's not the heat that gets to ya though, it's the humidity.

I've never really understood this. Do people wear jumpers in hot countries when temperatures are up in the high 20s because they get used to what we regard as excessive heat, or because they are physiologically different to us? Does your body start working differently after several years in a different climate. Do the Thais wearing jumpers (and I've seen other folk in Africa doing the same) because they genuinely start feeling a bit chilly when the temperature drops below 30C?

They genuinely feel cold, they are not acclimatised to it.
Further North in Thailand the temperatures can drop to 21-24ish in the 'winter', in which case the government have to hand out extra blankets. People here die from those temperatures, and I am in no way exaggerating.

People here refuse to put on the air conditioning when its 35 degrees because they are scared of getting sick. I can bear anything up to 40 degrees after spending five summers here but sometimes the humidity can get too much.
Summer here is usually 45 degrees and lasts for about five months

I went to Thailand back in September 2009 time and that was stupidly hot! I only went for a week. Managed to get flights and hotel (about 30 minutes away from Bangkok) for £150. Missus used to work as a travel agent! First time i've been over into Asia and loved it. Want to do some travelling at some point in the near future.

I do mind the heat. I know for a fact that I sleep much better in the other three seasons. Anything over approx 23C in the room at nighttime and I struggle. It's not that I mind the odd hot day...but if you have a week or more of unbroken high temperatures and no rain I become irritable. Sunshine & showers...nice combination.
Autumn is my best season. I love the smell of autumn and the freshness in the air. I'm a little jealous of BR because I loved Bangkok when I was there - but the heat would stop me living there or anywhere like it.
