Thats reminds me of this ----- At my last company, a worldwide pharma company, they were shit hot on health and safety bollocks. When bird flu set in there was a companywide notificaction of what to do if you encountered a dead bird etc etc - you know the kind of bollocks spouted. Somebody replied to the health and safety guys message..saying "for fucks sake - I've only just got over aids" - but in error he copied in the whole company. How we laughed as he cleared his desk. |

Speaking of health and safety...
The postman was about two hours late delivering to work today, when someone asked why, he said they're not allowed to use bikes anymore because of... health and safety.
Don't know if this is a new thing. Seems odd.

Its a new thing, it was on the news a while back - replacing bikes with really odd motorized scooter things - which from all accounts the postmen hate because they are alot slower than bikes.

They replaced the bikes with big trolleys up here so the postmen could carry more stuff, then it snowed forever and nobody got any post for two weeks.
