Drove past a sign the other day somewhere in the East Midlands for 'The National Forest'. Didn't like that one at all. The name seemed to suggest that the country only has one of them - in the same way as there can only be one National Anthem, National Lottery or National Debt. And I couldn't really see where the forest was either.
This was definitely on the 'mildly' end of the 'mildly annoy' spectrum, I'll grant you.

That annoys me but in a different sense. You know the bin men aren't coming so bring your rubbish/recycling back in or even better take it to the tip.

Recycling in general pisses me off. Yeah, like I'm supposed to wash rubbish before putting in a different bin. Fuck off.

To carry on the recycling theme, the fact SBC won't pick up bottles unless you've paid them for their non-biodegradable bags. And the fact those bags are making more waste.
I'm so sick of putting my rubbish out and finding that various plastics have been left because "the bags are too hard to tear open" that I now show some fucking responsibility and put them in the bins. If I don't do this, within a day or so, they're everywhere.

I hear you. My last re-cycling & food waste collection was 10th December. Its meant to be weekly, with no disruption over Xmas and New Year. Riiiiiigggggghhhhhhttttt!!!!! Luckily we're better off than other areas.......
