I’ll never understand the level of entitlement these so called ‘influencers’ seem to think they enjoy. Just fuck off and leave shit alone that has no interest in seeing your fat, stupid head.

Social media and the desirability to get clicks is getting ridiculous. There was a video recently that showed some kid throwing a footstool from a great height towards shoppers below. It landed very close to one person and had it been a second later or earlier would definitely have done some damage. Don't get me wrong, some of the 'pranks' and things are clever, creative and humerous but some things you see these days are just downright dangerous and stupid. (Which I guess are the videos that get the most clicks)

It landed very close to one person and had it been a second later or earlier would definitely have done some damage. Don't get me wrong, some of the 'pranks' and things are clever, creative and numerous, but some things you see these days are just downright dangerous and stupid. There’s definitely some good ones out there. People who do things in a good natured way, with an element of wit or some genuine skill. Anatoly, for example. He’s the guy that pretends to be a cleaner in gyms, toddling about like he doesn’t know what he’s doing, then proceeds to lift some enormous weights. It’s good fun, nobody gets hurt (a little embarrassing at times, perhaps) and I’ve no doubt he’s genuinely influenced some people who are interested in all that working out malarkey.

But those that think it’s ok, or funny, to steal a baby wombat from its Mum, eugh, just remove yourself from the gene pool.

She describes herself as an American Hunter, and we know these people are particularly horrific people - assuming she does all the 'trophy hunting' etc.

I despise trophy hunters, should be made to go in bare handed. I did chuckle when that cunt got flattened by the elephant he shot.

Anyone see Alvarez double touch the ball as I’ve watched it over and over and still think it’s inconclusive.

Bloody harsh to call that a clear and obvious error (hence var).

It amazes me how the Real Madrid players saw the double touch in real time😁

Its Real Madrid innit, if it had been missed they would probably have ben wailing about conspiracies and planning to withdraw from UEFA....

There is one angle, slowed down hugely which shows a touch with the slipping foot, literally before the striking foot makes contact. Weirdly when I saw the penalties replayed in real time on YouTube I'm convinced I can see the movement. But that could be me telling my brain that!

Ultimately I believe they made the correct decision.

The balls used in the UEFA CL have sensors apparently.
Picking up a miniscule movement is in the same category as an offside toenail for me i.e. not in the spirit of the game.

However, looking forward to the tech that will detect falling over that is outside of the laws of physics.

It's not that the player gained an advantage by touching it twice to be fair

Why wasn’t the penalty retaken🤔

Why wasn’t the penalty retaken🤔

Because that isn't the law. The referee can't apply a different rule just because they'd prefer that.

UEFA put out an unusually good statement, which a) has a pretty conclusive angle and b) says that they'll ask IFAB (the people who actually write the laws) to consider making it a retake if it's accidental.
