At the absolute most I will get my wife a Valentines Day, Birthday & Mothers Day (from mini DV obv) card from one of the website that’s do custom cards that are a bit more personal that the ones in stores.

Just let me check the fuck out as a guest. There is no need for me to create a log on so you can send me 5 emails a week about what fucking cards you have. I won’t impulse buy cards from an email. Cards are not things people casually get talked into buying. People buy them when they need them & that’s that.

I sort of got this in the early days of internet data gathering, but now every Tom, Dick and Harry.com has sold my data, surely there's very little value left in it unless you're a Facebook or whatever who have far richer data than a site I once bought a pot plant from in 2014.

Actual elected councillors get paid shit all, it's the Chief Execs who are doing well for themselves.

The Chief Executive, Sam Mowbray, will be paid £179,818 over the new financial year until the end of March 2026.

Immediately below Ms Mowbray are five corporate directors. The salaries for these posts fall within a salary band of £135,489 to £148,626  per year.

Then, below the corporate directors are a layer of directors – the salaries for these posts fall within a salary band of £100,965 - £112,750 for the year.

That pay range for a CEO is chicken feed - when you consider the scale and complexity of a Council, it's hardly surprising a few would be well paid, but that is nowhere near what a big Corporate CEO gets.  Probably explain the poor performance and efficiency at Council's to be honest.
