Oh I get that, but taking a photo just shows damage, it doesn't prove that you were not responsible and that it was there when you arrived.

The photo will have a date & time stamped on it (assuming it’s digital), so can show when it was taken

Exactly that. Take the photograph for time & date and notify the hotel straight away. You would have thought the cleaners would have noticed the damage unless of course it was them!

I duuno what the liability laws are like in Greece, but I would suspect you are fucked unless you can transfer the liability to the room occupier, but I imagine the hotel won't give a shit if they can just get the cash via your card.

The hotel have Already got the money off my card. Friends told the receptionist the following morning when they used the shower. Presume they’ll deny that. Hope friends cough up and sort it out between themselves and the hotel.

You should be able to dispute the charge on a credit card by phoning the credit card company?

Why the fuck are the government rolling out more Covid jabs? What disease has ever needed 6 or 7 jabs over a 2 year period?

Wish I’d never had any of them.

Perhaps one that may have been developed in a laboratory to have maximum impact against an enemy?

You know you don't 'have' to have them. I chose to have them as I didn't want to die.

Same with me at the time. But there was zero data available to the efficacy or side effects. It was a ‘scare the shit out of people’ approach.

I think we’ve been conned.

we haven't been conned at all.

the risks from getting COVID are demonstrably higher than having the jabs at your age, and mine.

But as said, don't want it don't have it. But there are certain consequences around travel, etc (though you'll be fine)

Influenza - new jabs developed nearly every year and one of the worlds biggest killers (historically speaking).  Generally speaking they are recommended for people most at risk - which is where Covid will be now, especially once a disease/virus has treatments available (which we do now for Covid).
