Didn't want to start a new thread but since I got married I have lost weight and my wedding ring keeps slipping off. Is there anything I can do apart from having it melted down and resized?

Become a bigamist and use the new, correctly sized ring to hold the loose ring in place?

Different approach.....get a new wife and therefore a new wedding ring, sorted. Worked for me.

I had the same problem with my wedding ring after losing weight. Had it resized once, then lost more weight and it became too big again. The wife ended up buying me a cheap tungsten carbide ring from Amazon instead of resizing the original again.

I actually prefer the cheap one, and as it's tungsten carbide it doesn't scratch and still looks as good as the day I got it.

TBF I got a tungsten carbide wedding ring from the wife for Christmas this year and I love it.

Far better wearing than the gold one and only about £30 with a special band insert, its really really hard and even though I have banged it heavily it doesnt have a scratch or mark on it.

Yes, this is poor but the retailer appears to be saying that they will address this.

M5 N. Bound about two and a half hours ago and I find myself slowly inching up behind a ‘58 plated grubby Astra Estate with a small yellow flashing light being towed by an equally battered looking Range Rover with a piece of strapping doing 70mph in lane one. I thought that’s dangerous, a premonition that something could go wrong came over me, little did I know. I really couldn’t believe it, so once Lane two was clear I thought I’d make my move to over take. I was level with the strap which was no more that 2m when the cunt in the RR without warning suddenly veered into my Lane to avoid another car in front of him who was indicating to come of at WSM exit. Jesus, if I put anymore pressure on my peddle it would have gone through the floor pan. By luck the Astra fishtailed into the gap that I had created by braking for my life, then the RR started to fishtail too. I still can’t believe how lucky I was. When I pulled along side the RR this scruffy old codger in a flat cap with a roll up hanging off his bottom lip just gave me the thumbs up as if it was an everyday thing. If I didn’t know any better I’d say they were aggressive predatory freshwater fish types. Still a bit shaky TBH and I reckon that is in the top three close encounters I’ve had in my 40 years on the road.

I wouldn't give some of these twats a licence to walk down the High Street let alone a driving licence- if they have one.
