Things you learn reading the morning paper.  Ghislaine Maxwell - ex-director of Oxford United.  Always knew she was a wrong 'un.

Those who write 'I haven't read back' in the match day forum.

It irritates me, because I find that most people I have to deal with these days irl are very happy to talk but not so happy to listen.

I find myself thinking 'Why should I read your drivel if you can't be bothered to read mine?'

no, you misunderstand , at least in my case

I put it sometimes to indicate I'm giving my views *before* I read back such that

1. I may be repeating points made already
2. I've not been influenced by views made before in my summary.

I always go back and read it

Because people have better things to do than read back 20 odd pages of play-by-play text commentary.

When somebody cuts in front of you at the pub, knowing full well you were next and they weren’t.

Even worse is when you accidentally do the same, attempt to give the place back only to be rebuffed with a huff and a grumble.

Something that I don’t miss now that you can order drinks on your phone from the comfort of your table.

Shops that put sticky price labels on the back of cards,  I either forget to take them off or when I do they leave bloody sticky marks on the card. No such thing as ‘easy peel’.

Especially when it's biased bollocks.

How is it biased bollocks, it's reporting on what is going on with a bit of opinion thrown in.  Granted you might not agree with the opinion, but that hardly makes it biased.

Not everyone can watch and listen to the game so are greatful of the updates on here.

I suggest that the TEF is not for you if you think a match commentary is biased - you would be much better suited with Twitter, now that is the least biased platform that you will be able to find on the interweb - FACT

the match comms is just how the person sees it.

the comments after the same.

not everyone is going to be in agreement but I'm genuinely not sure what you mean by biased. can you explain?

I think Mr REDBUCK means that since we are all Town fans, the views we express will be biased in favour of the Town rather than a balanced opinion of the game, that only a neutral person with no vested interest could bring.

P.S. If I miss a game, I don't read back at the comments 'during the game', but I do look at all of the ones from the final whistle onwards to see what the overall opinion of the game was.
