No wonder that show's ratings are at an all-time low.

BBCQT allowing the LIE that leaving the EU allowed us to approve the vaccine faster, to go unchallenged.
Something that should not even have been a topic for debate in the first place. No wonder that show's ratings are at an all-time low.
I am sure the political leanings of the new DG are entirely unrelated. Similarly people are starting to point out that Twitter are flagging Trumps bullshit tweets but doing nothing about UK cabinet ministers doing likewise...

QT has been like that for some time. IIRC it's editor is well connected with the Brexiteer wing of the Tories and the woman who vets the audience has far right connections. They both predate the current DG, although I'm not holding my breath that he'll be stepping in to "restore balance" there any time soon

Mrs Audrey has just dropped her glass of finest Greek village wine on the floor - glass everywhere.
And, somehow, it’s my fucking fault!

Of course it is your spending too much time on the forum and not giving her enough attention!

Luckily it’s a 12 year old Metaxa. I’ve just opened mine and it’s superb, now that would warrant a fucking earful.

I have, so far, never tried Metaxa, but then I struggle with a lot of shorts due to my esophagis problems.

As a frequent CY visitor I got into it there. I nearly bought the standard stuff from the supermarket a few weeks back as it was on offer at £16.50 for a 70cl bottle. I put it back when I saw is was only 38% spirits should be 40 minimum. The French stuff is over price IMHO so I did an internet search. The Metaxa 12 YO was £26, smooth as a baby’s arse, no harsh edges whatsoever. Seems a shame to buy just to torch the Christmas Pudding 🤣🤣

That would be a total waste, buy a cheap supermarket own brand for the pudding, stash the Metaxa away for later. This was what made Greece one of my favourite holiday destinations. Always found the 3* better than the 5*, The nicest brandy I have found next to Metaxa is. Asbach, another lovely smooth brandy, trouble is that they go down too easily !! 😀😀.
