Just got a snotty email from my works "foundation" team (they organise charity events and stuff) because I didn't turn up to the event I was booked to do the day after my brother passed away a few weeks ago. Lovely stuff!

I'd kill them with sarcasm and niceness, Tails.
Reply to them with a heartfelt apology for prioritizing such an event over theirs, and promise to be more considerate in the future. Having said that, that they sent such a message to you in the first place suggests it might be wasted on them.
Sorry to hear about your brother. That's an awful thing to happen.

Thanks guys. Cancer is a cunt as I know a lot of people on here are aware of.
I initially was furious but decided to go down the sarcasm route and say by way of an apology they can make a donation to Macmillan.Maybe get a bit of good out of them being arseholes.

Sorry to hear of of your loss mate, yes cancer is a fucking bastard and there is no need whatsoever for a response like that, fuck them, wankers, there are far more important things in life (and unfortunately death) than whatever even they had planned, much condolences.

People who place ads online, then don't respond, even when you are offering to buy. Why bother advertising?

Nationwide have added a function to their App which breaks down what areas you spend your money on during the month.
How the fuck do we spend over £500 on food for the 2 of us in a month?

Do you eat out a lot, and then get takeaways.... that's quite expensive?

That’s just supermarket spending. Food and drink as in socialising is in addition to that. Fucking unbelievable.
