Unfortunately that's the way things are, businesses like to get bookings in early to avoid disappointment and Christmas day usually gets filled very quickly. I've been fortunate that I'm abroad every winter so have never had to take responsibility for arranging Christmas in the bars and restaurants I have been involved with in the summers. |
