When I was managing an office a few years ago, I had two members of staff turn up together 1 hour 30 minutes late, blaming the rain.

Not only was 'It's raining' not a sufficient excuse to be that late in the first place, but it didn't even start raining until about 1 hour after they were supposed to start work.

Hangovers seem worse when you get older.

Depends what you drink. A decent rum will not give me a hangover.

Apparently they actually are worse:

I've had to cut way back in the week due to hangovers, I need a fairly fresh mind to get any work done.

I've never really noticed this....  I do think that you tend to be able to drink in a better way, knowing your pace, what mixtures to avoid etc as you get older.

Also, you do slow down.  A few years back I had to go from 5% beers to 4% beers.

I have some 'limit' filter these days. Hard to push through it to chuck up/wiped out zone

I like to have a limit, which is a bit below the real limit, as it allows room for a "special occasion"
