Is there such a thing as maleism?

No it's called male chauvinism....unsurprisingly named after Monsieur Chauvin.

It's almost put me off having some wine, that. Almost.

Could this be described as the end of the honeymoon period?

Oh bloody hell we are not going to have to take sides are we?

Men's Rights Activists. A delightful group of people.

The Tory MP, Philip Davies recently upset a few ladies, by addressing this group's conference, and claiming women want to have their cake and eat it...especially in the area of access to kids and other legal matters.

A lot of women I know do like to eat cake.

The sad thing is there is a legitimate role for campaign on genuine men's issues like suicide rates, family court justice and mental health, but the men's rights movement, if you can call it that, just appears to be a bunch of odious mysoginists getting cross about Ghostbusters.

It's very hard to get across to people that feminism hates men being oppressed too. It's the bullshit construction of masculinity that causes half the shit women go through after all. Still, MRAs prefer to whine about ghostbusters and berate women (like we're all hairy crazy cat ladies - and if you don't believe it, scroll up Wink). Sad really.

This is where I have trouble. Some feminists do shout about the troubles and prejudices men face, but for me that isn't feminism at all.

Feminism needs to die and re-brand itself to something more appropriate... then those women who are men haters and believe women should rule the world (and believe me, I've seen plenty) can have their own agenda. At the moment there's too much in-fighting and no clarity as to what you actually stand for.

So what you are saying is essentially modern feminism is much like the Labour Party?
