This is more of a don't understand issue, unless the BBC are now repeating Tory spin verbatim? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-36763212This suggests 2000 new jobs, but the story actually only seems to mention 100 new jobs?

The 2000 jobs have been created over the last 5 years. I think you said you'd gone into a post Brexit purdah, in which case you may not have noticed the economy has taken an anticipated hit. The Tories are trying to do their best to make sure this is just a blip and not a full blown recession.....Osborne is in the US, trying to do something about Obama's back of the queue comment, and Sajid Javid has been dispatched to Asia to try and drum up some interest there. Apparently Leadsom is giving a speech at noon, the money is on a withdrawal so May can move staright into Number 10, think the Tories realise leadership is needed asap.

I am fully aware of the entirely inevitable hit the economy has taken for instance I read in Private Eye while I was away that whilst we will allegedly save £8.5bn a year post EU our stakes in RBS and Lloyds are already worth £10.8bn less than they were pre referendum. No idea what's going to happen with a remain tory being elected, no one seems to want to invoke Article 50 which will anyway need primary legislation to do?

May has said out is out, that seems fairly clear. Also end of free movement is a higher priority than single market....so it looks like the plan is to get immigrants from places like Bangladesh and Pakistan, to make up the shortfall.

But were the out means out statements just an attempt to bring the Brexit side on board during the leadership campaign, as we have seen during the last few weeks the truth and politicians are uncomfortable bed fellows? I think a lot of brexiters still think that our departure will also reduce migration from the east so if your suggestion comes to bear that's going to be a little shock for them?

It shouldn't as Nigel Farage flagged it up....a reason why many in the Asian communities voted out.

Wiffy and I bought a couple of the create your own pizzas from Morrison's.
She opted for chicken, tuna, onion and peppers.
I imagine that's the first time ever that chicken and tuna have appeared on the same pizza. As soon as she ordered it she regretted it I think, but by the time she changed her mind the chicken and tuna were both already nicely spread on her pizza.
She said it was OK. I should've tasted it just out of morbid curiosity.

Locked churches.
I understand why they do it, buts it's a sad state of affairs why they have to do it. In my opinion, churches should be open 24 hours and not be abused. For fucks sake, even McDonald's is open 24 hours.
