Those cunts that damage your car and just drive off are the scum of the earth. Some wanker put a dent in my passenger door when they whacked their door into it in a car park. Had the car from new and it's the only mark on it. Most people have protected no claims so it wouldn't affect their premium anyway. Should be automatic jail for not reporting accidents in my opinion.

A claim is going to put the premium up, regardless if it is protected though.
I accidentally damaged a neighbour's car a few years ago and paid their repair bill personally. I'm fairly sure the excess plus increased premium the last three years would have been far more than the cost of the repair.

100% this. Someone scraped the whole side of my front bumper, to the point it started to come off.

That's my thoughts for not claiming too. It's even more of a pain because mine's a lease and I'll have to repair it before it goes back. A few of the waiters in the restaurant who's car park we park in are pretty shit drivers. One has a well beaten up Almera which has been scuffed and dented for months. I wouldn't mind betting it's one of them that hit my car, but I've got no proof. Even if I confronted them and got them to admit it, I wouldn't be confident of getting a payment out of them anyway.

Car park spaces are too small, a culmination of bigger cars/useless drivers/ignorant twats has lead to more car park dinks. Sainsbury at bridgemead have done a decent job with their car park - putting in two lines. It seems like more room.

I witnessed a lady in a range rover reversing out of a space and mullering a Nissan Almera Tino MPV behind her, she got out, checked her car, jumped back in and drove off. She'd damaged the other car, so left our details as witnesses. They went to the police, had to give witness statements and all that shite, £2k's worth of damage, the lady's husband stormed into the shop of the owner of the car she hit and threatened them and demanded to know who I was, saying we were lying and it was fraud. People are dickheads.

I went to the outlet village for the first time a few weeks back. My word have they made a hash of their new(er) parking spaces. Especially the diagonal ones.

I went there last weekend and agree. Mind you people just seemed to park anywhere they liked regardless if it was a space.

I can't say I've ever had frothy piss. I think it definitely means you have terminal cancer, horlock. It's been nice knowing you.

Stephen Hawking probably has an equation for it. I'd recommend you read everything he has written just in case I'm right.

Fair play to you for doing that. Sadly I think most people would ignore what they saw if they witnessed the same type of incident.

Jeez Legett that's ridiculous! God on you for helping though - No wonder no one ever wants to act as witnesses any more - a lady stopped to ask if I was ok when a crazy man went mental at me and kicked my car a year or so ago but refused to be a witness - I didn't really blame her'
