didn't the mayor try to introduce something but residents rejected it?
'We' voted to have a mayor so I'd be very surprised if 'we' went against something like that. To be honest I don't see how we'd be guaranteed residential parking even if we paid x amount a year. People ignore the double-yellows and they'll ignore residential parking. Transport is easily the worst thing about Bristoll. |

My missus went to a rough Primary School in Knowle West and she's done just fine.
TBF the Bristol middle classes, mostly send their kids to fee paying schools. |

I've had a works van broken into in knowle west once. Right outside the reception windows in a school. The schol staff said it was nothing to do with them despite being on school premises.

My in-laws had a local druggy break-in through the kitchen on New Years Eve while they were in the living room. Funny thing is that the door was open.... |

Being in the 50+ age group I get the occasional younger person offering me his seat on the bus, tube etc. It happened in the pub at the weekend. I don't usually mind, but I was in the toilet at the time...
