The roadworks in calne this morning, twenty five minutes to drive a mile and a half, only to find the only thing waiting at the lights in the other direction was one moped. SORT THE BIAS OUT ON THE LIGHTS. Its not the moped riders fault though is it? Cut him some slack,he could of been on an urgent pizza delivery and was cursing the traffic lights aswell

The rice that comes in the microwaveable pouches. Nice idea but tastes like shit.
Arriba my friend, as you are a self professed long time connoisseur of all things spicy and take away, I am absolutely appalled to find that you are partaking of fucking microwaveable pouches. Please, do the decent thing and knock up a saucepan full of gently salted boiling water, show it the rice for a reasonable ten minutes until it confesses to being al dente and then rinse with boiling water to remove the excess starch. Let's have no more of this nonsense please.

twas a late night quick job when I got in last night. A rarity. I usually cook rice this way. ... put rice in alot of cold water and wait for it to boil. After a couple of mins of boiling it's done. Nice and fluffy with no stodge. Always basmati too.

The rice is shit out here.
A lot of people seem to think that because Thai's eat so much rice that they'd know how to cook it. They don't. It's fucking crap.

This is where Thais redeem themselves somewhat where rice is concerned. Sticky rice with Mango and/or ice-cream is the bomb.

Quorn bacon.
I know this is living up to my title, but I've given up meat for lent. Mostly quorn is pretty decent, but bacon just doesn't compare.

I am 100% carnivore, but the Linda McCartney sausages that I ate a few years back were superb.
