Did the older guy try to sell you lottery tickets, stamps or ask whether you wanted to take out any types of insurance?  Smiley

ummmm insurance 9th Nov tax end of Oct
Would have done 6 months but not allowed as only £20 for 12 months tax

In that case I am pretty sure you will not be able to do it online, as it takes something ridiculous like 2 weeks for the indursnce to uodate do the online system recognises that the insurance is valid fir longer than the same month.

That would be about right ffs  Crash

While am on the thread
A year ago I took out breakdown cover/relay/home start and breakdown repair cover at a cost of 255 for 2 cars ( used the breakdown repair twice which cost me 35 each time but overall saved me more than the price of the years cover )
Anyway got my renewal thru which includes a 20% discount yet is now 310 for the year. Head Hurts
Now if I go online and use the wives name as main person it comes in at 250 ( obv still with same reg numbers as last year )

Whats the point in loyalty

Does that include car insurance as well? If that quote is just breakdown it's extremely expensive.

No doesnt include insurance but every level of breakdown they do bar european

The breakdown repair cover = max cost to me of £35 per time if car needs garaging for repair up to cost of £500
Can use 4 times a year

If dont have that on the policy I can get the rest for 110 ( green flag ) but like said used the breakdown repair cover twice last year and saved the 255 I paid for the policy.
The part I object to is paying 60 more ( 117 if you remove the alleged 20% discount ) for being a second year customer when as a new one I can save money  Hmmm

rac tried to charge me twice the new customer price.  rang up and they pricematched without argument.

most companies place new custom behind loyalty

Even with the discount I get for being a member of the ICAEW the RAC and AA are incredibly expensive vs. the cover I purchase when renewing car insurance.

Getting threatened with a bullying and harassment case by a 53 year old prick I work with. Well, I say work, he attends, not sure on the amount of work.
