Not doubting what you saw but have never heard of this before, definitely not as a feature. Most odd.

Would have thought it would have been mentioned on DS forums by now. Not sure how they'd implement it other than storing multiple advert streams for later playback. But then the box would need to know you were mid ad break when you press rewind.

Will give it a go after the footy.

Talking of adverts, tesco garage shops will start using electronic billboards with face recognition techniques to ascertain your sex and age to play appropriate adverts to you . thanks a bunch Alan fucking sugar.

The rear doors? Isn't it something to do with 'stowaways'?

If I hadn't had seen it, and then tried it again I wouldn't have believed it myself so I don't mind being doubted

Yes, the rear doors.

You can say immigrants and asylum seekers by the way,  although I don't think many are that desperate to escape from the B&Q distribution centre

The baby sensor monitor alarm going off just,  never moved so fast in my life and never seemed to take so long to get up stairs.

Just seems to have been a fault but frit the shit out of us and traumatised baby as she was woken from deep sleep by two frantic parents bursting into her bedroom and then getting her up even though she was obviously ok.

Well that's bloody odd. I just saw the same thing, almost! Straight after the multi screen advert I rewound. The multiscreen adver was gone! I think it got replaced by a different ad, the ads before this "different" one were the same.

Do you have the HD version on 108, or SD? I wonder of they are somehow substituting in the SD feed for the multiscreen advert while the "rewind buffer" continues to record the HD version of the feed.

If you don't have HD on 108 then its even more bizarre.

We've all been there - its an awful feeling and it does scare the shit out of you. As will a lot of other things that happen being a parent. Enjoy !

I wonder if they somehow substitute in ads "from your region" while continuing to buffer the national HD stream. If so that's quite clever. I've asked on the Digital Spy forums. A smartarse should be along within a day with the answer:)
