I can get a return flight from Sarajevo to London for £180. I can get a return flight from Ljubljana to London for £75. But it would require an overnight train to Ljubljana, with all the costs worked out going via Slovenia would cost a grand total of £110. Pay the £70 extra and get the journey done in 4 hours, or save £70 and spend 2 days travelling?
Looked at all regional bus+plane, train+plane combos and Ljubljana is the only one that works out much cheaper than Sarajevo.
