Ha ha, I didn't realise such a comment would kick up such a stir. It is trivial after all.

The majority of drivers, don't 'wash their windscreen' once they have hit a bug. In this weather it doesn't take long for them to dry out and by that time you need to use hell of a lot of liquid to get rid of them. And most people decide to do wash their screen stationary in traffic which pisses me off as I then also get half of it on my car!

At the end of your journey use a cloth to clean the dead flies off. Easy.

I need to use mine as the trees above where I park leave a light film of sticky residue on my screen which means I collect shit as I drive and need to clean it off within a mile or so, if not immediately - especially in the summer.

It doesn't matter how many times I see this gif, or what I think of Cheryl Cole, I find myself drawn to watching it repeatedly.

Or you just use your wipers once they go splat and are still soft like any non-mongoloid, although I appreciate you do not fall in to that category.

can't agree with you there. Surely the clue is in the title 'windscreen WASH' 'windscreen WIPER'. Each to their own

You really need to find something decent to moan about. Try reading the Mail online and sharing your comments with them instead, I think you'll find some like minded folk.

On there they probably blame the last Labour Government for the amount of migratory insects about, which are mindlessly attacking their car windscreens....and then ringing the police to do something about it.

People who use their screen wash and wipers in this weather. It really isn't for that purpose. Stupid idiots.

Is this a real sentence?

Some people use their windshield wipers to get dirt or sticks or other debris off their windshield without using the windshield washer fluid. Using your wiper blades on the dry glass is not good for them. If you need to get debris off your windshield you should use the windshield washer fluid first so that the blades can move easier. The fluid allows the blades to glide smoothly across the windshield instead of scraping and making that horrible noise they make when it's dry.

A useful tip there from some American website.

Next lesson - using water to have a bath or shower is a better way of getting clean than just using shampoo and soap on its own.

You get a shitty residue from pollution on the windscreen too and it seems to bake on during the sunny weather. Not to mention the dirty dust that gets kicked up on country roads.

Of course, if you’re just driving around town and not racking up many miles then you probably don’t need to use screen wash/wipers so much.

Obviously I hope the driver is ok from yesterday but how on earth do you manage to smash up a car in such a state on Drakes Way?

Probably didn't clear his windscreen of summer debris before starting to drive.
