Ian Thorpe. He's becoming increasingly annoying. I'm glad the swimming ends today, so hopefuly he'll disappear from our screens.

I've really enjoyed Ian Thorpe as an expert on the swimming. Very informative, obviously knows his stuff, been there and done it.
A hell of a lot better than the likes of Tanni Grey whatsherface talking about the cycling.

Chrissie Wellington was superb earlier, but Thorpe has been spot on as well.
Hats off to the bbc for their excellent coverage.

It's not his knowledge of the swimming, it's the sarcastic comments that have irritated me.

The bbc's coverage hasnt been that great. They concentrate on build up too much and not the action,. For example our long jumper has just extended his lead and the bbc are showing a Jess Ennis trailer. Why? Show the action you dickheads.

After 18 years of marriage my wife hasn't the foggiest idea of what beers I like and what beers I can't stand. She has just come home announcing she had bought me beer, unfortunately of the can't stand variety.

I will force myself to drink them for the sake of matrimonial harmony.

It's been six year today since my grandfather passed away. I always find it hard to be on my own on this day.

My work 'temporarily' suspending access to sports websites during the Olympics, which means no access to the TEF during work out hours. It's the only thing that makes my day bareable.

Find your favourite beer, open a bottle and remember him with a smile.
