Amen to that. We have at least 6 spaces outside our local Tesco Express. In the couple of years since they've been done i have never seen more than one disabled badge holder use them at anyone time. Obviously you still get some twats using them thinking it doesn't apply to them.

We live in what i assume is an average community. Surely not all the disabled people in the area are gonna go shopping at Tesco at the same time?!

I read somewhere there has to be at least 10% of the parking spaces avaliable to the disabled.

The fact that it is Monday, and my office has been used as a canteen and a meeting room. Shut the fuck people are trying to 'work' here.   Bad Mood

I don't see how having too many is an issue unless it's a small carpark. 10 seconds extra walking never hurt anyone and it's not like Services and Supermarket carparks are bursting at the seams.

Do you reckon they will have able bodied parking right next to the stadium at the para Olympics.

While not always the case, it can happen that the whole car park is full with the exception of a row of disabled parking spaces right next to the store entrance.  Happened the other day to me, which is what prompted my comment.  You don't dare park in one of them in case there's a parking Nazi lurking around the corner looking to double his commission for the week by slapping a ticket on your car.  I drove off.
