EDL march has make Bristol a bit of a chore to get around today.
Only a couple hundred (maximum) of them.

Going to Newbury races today and all the bars closing because of fighting between Swansea and Cardiff supporters. Why can't they keep it their side of the bridge. Probably stop in Bristol on the way back for a bit more.

Yeah got quite nasty with other groups having a go as well. Came away early as the main objection of the day for us was having a good day out drinking. It didn't surprise me that much as we had a right flare up with a coach load of lads from Coventry a couple of years ago across from the race course in the Blue Ball pub. Also last year half the Reading first team not taking kindly to a few of our group singing " run, run run........." but that was just hand bags.

Blimey, stopped at the Narrow Boat for food on the way past ( didn't go to the races, just in Newbury ). There were some Welsh in there, but they all looked over 60 so I reckon I was safe.
Presumably the dickheads were escorted back to the land of the knuckledraggers pretty pronto.

We parked in the town centre car park by the canal and walked up. There was a lot of all male coach parties around today, I'd say more than usual so the potential was there but it was fairly quiet until late afternoon inside the course. They obviously hate all things English( and each other) and have a real us and them mentality. Surely Chepstow races would be better for them and us

I'm going there next month with the mrs and daughter. Daughter wants to see Jessie J, so getting to go racing means i'll tolerate it.

Waking up with a really sore throat this morning.
Hoping it is just from too much snoring!
