Hear goes. I have lived here now for a year, I have some amazing times, but still get very lonely often - even though I meet so many new people & try so many things. My mind goes through a lot of pain & unsettling times. I've recently realised that the thing that makes me the happiest, is also the thing that gives me the most unsettling thoughts, and the thing that will probably ultimately destrpy me. Vicious circle, no way out
sorry for that soppiness, needed to get it off my chest

Getting all ready for football, then for it to be postponed. Everyone knew it was going to happen, so why leave it til 8.45 to make the decision?!

Losing the ability to watch our tv through HD and having to go back to an analogue setting. The picture is so crap in comparison.

Losing ESPN HD on our Virgin box. I discovered that we were getting it about a month ago, and we've been watching loads of live football on it. Went down yesterday to watch Man City vs Fulham and a message came up saying that you need a subscription to view it. Balls.
Does anyone with Virgin know if this is a fault, is ESPN included in their packages without extra subscription?

If you have XL, then ESPN is chucked in...if you have L like me, then ESPN has been a freebie for January. If you have Sky then ESPN is £6 a month for a subscription, and £8 if not.

Aah, that may explain it. We have a standard package with Virgin; TV, phone, and internet, no special TV stuff like films or sports.

Despite having some HD channels, I don't really care for it one way or the other - I often watch in SD without thinking I could watch it in HD.

That's exactly the same as us, we often watch channels without using HD and it's no issue. However, now something has gone wrong, the picture is terrible on virtually every channel. It's got a real blurriness to it.

I find the difference really noticable. Golf and football in hd is the mutts nuts comapared to sd. Even normal tv viewing is much more preferable in hd.
