Oh FFS. The BBC are slowly but surely becoming a joke of a broadcaster.

They seem to think that the country is only interested in the Premier League

At least he's more entertaining than Alan "ditchwater" Shearer.

They also commission utter garbage like "The Royal Body Guard" too,.

I'd completely forgotten about Grella.

Being reminded mildly annoyed me.

I can't help but feel that's a little harsh, Grella gave his all on the pitch and was probably rightly annoyed to be kept out of the team by some of the complete shit that was ahead of him. The events surrounding him leaving were a bit odd, but I think the Clarke issue was considerably worse.

That's a seriously weak comparison to draw between the two - one throws punches at his manager, the other refuses to play for Paul Hart.

Anyone in their right mind should refuse to play for Paul Hart.

I agree, I can remember being a bit surprised he was dropped, but then Harts ridiculous tactics didn't make any sense at all.

Mostly just being reminded about most of the shite from last season annoys me but just the fact i had completely forgotten about Grella and the fact he was ever here shows just how good he was, I suppose...

I know.  Right up there with Colin Todd.

I don't think i'l ever forget one of his interviews on the radio.

after being in a meeting with the chairman for about an hour came out and basically blamed the fans for the team being shit.

Don't forget the one where he basically refused to give Vic Morgan the courtesy of decent answers. I think that was the final straw for me.

I can sort of see why Paul Hart was appointed. Track record. But we needed a motivator and a battler and from day one it was obvious we'd appointed Mr Negative. 4-3-3 my fucking arse.

I hate to say it, because I hate the cunt, but on the 'battler' front Notts County got it right with Allen. Personally I'd have let Wilson see out the season because the timing of the sacking/Hart appointment made no sense. The board/Fitton were under ever increasing pressure though - and there may well have been a lynching had they not acted.
