The battle I'm currently having with NPower. According to our meter readings, we've spent £1,400 on gas in the last 12 months and they've now put our monthly payment up to £237 a month to cover the deficit we're now in. I honestly can't see how we could have used that much gas. Our heating is on a timer and only comes on in the morning before work and in the evenings. We've had it on during the day on a Saturday and Sunday when we've been in, but I imagine most people have. Our cooker is all electric.

Think maybe they're trying to tell us that North Korea has blocked Kaesong access?

Bookmarked sites for research for a client I'm writing for.
He has a site on Parapsychology and the paranormal etc. I don't necessarily believe any of it but it's more fun to write about than a lot of the stuff I get.

I find that shit fascinating too. Don't believe it either I hasten to add. Cryptozoology is a pet love of mine. I love logical things explaining crazy stories. The link between myth/legend and real explanations fascinates me.

Interestingly I was researching this recently for my writing... Roger Godberd was one of Simon de montfort's captains during the second baron's war- he went on the run after the Battle of Evesham, and his life mirrors that of 'Robin Hood' very closely in parts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_GodberdRobin Hood is definitely a composite character, but Godberd is as good a candidate as anyone for the crown of 'the real'. There are so many local variations that have been included in his stories up and down the years it's honestly impossible to point to one bloke.

Interesting.....one line was that around that time a Marrion Tuck was born....leading to all kind of rumours. There are not many mythical heroes in the UK compared to other countries....lots of real people with myth and legend added...Bodicea...King Alfred, with his sword etc. Any news on Count Dracula?

Dracula lives on the moon with his buddies Hitler, Elvis, and Chuck Norris, shooting people with his moon laser and running the Red Cross. Read Dr. mcninja, it explains it perfectly. And we're British. We don't make shit up! (much...)

I actually took on the job hoping to be convinced to a degree, it hasn't happened yet. There are some interesting theories that could provide a link but they are tenuous at best. Still fun though. Writing articles about psychokinesis and teleportation has endless potential for Star Trek and Star Wars references as well. I took full advantage.

What apparently happened with the Philadelphia experiment/Tesla's crazy fiddlings are the closest I've heard of shit has gotten to 'getting real'. Interesting theories/possibility for stuff to get weird, but little evidence to back it up...
