Yes but if they have a local post code they can get them at the same time as people on the data base.

The differentiation is that someone who never goes won't be on the database surely?

Am I missing the point wouldn't be the first time?

Basically if you don't want to buy a season ticket for whatever reason get yourself on the database because it helps you get tickets in certain situations.

Woolworths does not exist anymore though so your just trying to get out of it aren't you  No

It does online, although this sounds like the sort of material that would have the site shut down in an instant.

I still don't get what you're moaning about, who's getting treated like royalty? supporters of the club! how is that wrong.

what you're suggesting is the club should have visibility of someone who isn't on their database and doesn't live in the locality. how would they??

come on man this is a fantastic occasion and you're turning it sour. we'll all get tickets I'm sure, and there's no conspiracy against you I'm sure either

E I E I E I O!!!!

i'm not moaning you thick cunt.try reading the post you quoted

Well it meant you could get a ticket for Millwall away.

And if you lived outside of Swindon you could get a Wembley ticket.

I get it now.

So the club could have done a three step ticket issue

1) Season ticket holders
2) Database names
3) General sale to local postcodes

so arriba et al are moaning about 2 & 3 being let loose all at once on friday?

Am I right?

Guess they could have waited until monday for option 3.

RE the whole bandwagon debate. Whilst it's sometimes frustrating to here people talking about it who've never been before it happens to every club. If we take 35,000 a week Saturday then great. As others have said it's at least a full allocation (or near enough) but what if even 1 or 2k of them come back more often next season as a result? It's certainly a way of getting people interested again. The board are probably chuffed to bits at the chance for us at claw in some of the really old stayaway who'll no doubt want to come as well.

My brother is taking his girlfriend who is an arsenal fan, my bet is that he'll go to more next year, and she'll end up going along with him, win, win.

I'd say I'm observing that would be a 'fairer' option rather than actually moaning.
