Getting on a bit, can't get into a championship side. Doesn't sound like Pericard at all.
Pericard wasn't signed as a replacement for one or other of the most promising striking partnerships the clubs had in about 10 years though was he.
He was signed on a free, as a back up player for a League One side. I'm still hoping we'll be in the Championship next season, or at least challenging for it from the start. If we lose either Billy or Charlie and the likes of the Heff is the best we can do as a replacement then I'd be disappointed, and you would be too so why argue about it...
