It will never be an ex rivalry. Any Town fan currently over 20 ish will always hate the yellow and blue wankers down the A420.

Look at Other clubs who are leagues apart, the rivalry is still intense.

Try telling a Port Vale fan they don't have a rivalry with Stoke!

My elder lad is 23...he missed the last home game v O*frod, playing football for the U13's or something.  He dislikes Cheltenham rather more, and wants them, like O*ford back to their natural terrain, in non league.

I'm somewhat ambivalent to them...on the one hand it's handy for away travel, on the other it's been a bit of a nightmare fixture. Home hasn't been too crash hot either.

I've never seen us play Oxford at the CG either. Fortunately, I was able to experience the delights of the Manor Ground before it was laid to rest.

I've heard some of the younger Oxford fans are now singing 'We hate Stevenage' regularly at games, much to the annoyance of the older fans who remember games against us.

Next season won't just be their 5th consecutive season outside the League (if they fail to win the play offs); it will also be their 10th consecutive season playing in a lower league to ourselves.  Sounds more like an ex-rivalry to me.

This is the 12th year in a row we've finished above them in the league standings.

I imagine the majority of Oxford fans would love to see a Swindon Town decline. I'm quite happy to see them remain outside the Football League.

We've done well this season and we've not missed them like we seem to do when we're having a dull season.

Were just better than them. Full stop.

They have an awful record at the CG Cheesy

I have horrible memories of being stuffed 3-0 at the Manor and then O*ford bought those gay B.S.E (Beat Swindon Easily) t shirts out.

It doesn't happen too often so they have to make the most of it.

Until the McMuck years, we had a better record at the Manor than they did.

It's been nearly 40 years since their one and only victory at the CG, and at the rate they are going, that record to be extended for a number of years.

I'd settle for renewing the City rivalry next year. True enough they are more concerned with Rovers, but its better than nowt.

I quite enjoy the yellow submarine sinking to the bottom.
