This chap sums it up very nicely:

"Bates has been in charge for 5 years.....

In those 5 years we have had 4 of the lowest finishes in our 91 year history..

-15 points..-10 points..administration..receivership ..near bankrupcy and liquidation...

2 play off final defeats..relegation...S/f play off defeat...

Dont know who owns the club...dearest prices outside the premiership...

!.5 million payout to levis court team...journalists banned from ER..{for telling the truth]

No radio leeds..no investment in january...but we will have a hotel?...

The wheels have well and truly come off this season....

We have no chance of finishing in the top 4...norwich have won the league.....

millwall have got 61 points from the last 30 games and are surely destined for second place....

We are in the s**t with no hope of redemption.....

A fourth season in the third division.....and when next season comes around......

We will be lucky to get 14000 for the games against yeovil, brighton, rochdale etc....

and ...unbelievably........there are idiots on this site who will say..."bates saved this club..."....

Personally....i think he destroyed it..."

I think we have 60, so maybe it's not all over yet.

Let's concentrate on Hartlepool though, if we lose to them and and all our promotion rivals win then there will be even more pressure on us for the Leeds game, and we're be back to square 1 we need to concentrate on beating Hartlepool and then look to how big the Leeds game will be....and hopefully watch Leeds collapse under the pressure being heaped on them by both their fan's and the media

Instead of singing 'Marching On Together', shouldn't they be singing 'Road To Nowhere' as that is more appropiate.

The truth is, if Grayson stays we're gonna need some new faces because the players we have at the moment are either knackered or their confidence is totally shot. If they were going to turn it around, it would've happened two months ago, it hasn't so we need to look elsewhere.

I've been going through the Premier League and Championship squad lists, seeing who might be available to us, which is what I hope Grayson will be doing this week. For me, we need quality and someone who can offer a spark for us. Also, experience is key in this situation so that kinda rules out a lot of the younger players.

Here's the shortlist I came up with, and the ones in bold I'd love to see us go for, although I fully admit I don't expect us to sign more than one or two.

Defenders

Danny Shittu - Bolton - Perfect replacement for Paddy
Fredrik Stoor - Fulham
Martin Kelly - Liverpool
Greg Halford - Wolves - Decent full-back

Midfielders

Fabian Delph - Aston Villa - Creative spark we need in midfield and knows our players. Grayson needs to beg his mate O'Neill for a favour.
Mark Albrighton - Aston Villa
Nacer Barazite - Arsenal
Craig Eastmond - Arsenal
Gael Kakuta - Chelsea
Damien Plessis - Liverpool
Danny Rose - Tottenham
John Bostock - Tottenham
Andrew Surman - Wolves
Lee Carsley - Birmingham - Grafter that has lots of experience

Strikers

Nathan Delfouneso - Aston Villa
Kevin Phillips - Birmingham - Goals, goals, goals. Perfect back-up for Beckford
Ricardo Vaz Te - Bolton
Dani Pacheco - Liverpool
Sam Vokes - Wolves
Sylvain Ebanks-Blake - Wolves
Andy Keogh - Wolves
Marvin Emnes - Middlesbrough
Steve Howard - Leicester
Aaron Mclean - Peterborough
Craig Mackail-Smith - Peterborough

Well no, not a 'struggling' club. However, we managed to get a Premiership striker, albeit a young one  Cheesy
