Shoving an ostrich into a bap must make a bit of a mouthful

Shoestrings in Chippenham used to do/still do Ostrich burgers. I enjoyed them very much.

Had medallions of, on Friday - Chewy.
Lovely meat when fresh but so much of it is frozen and got knows how old it is. Never had an ostrich burger but I dare say that they would be perfect.
Wild Boar and crocodile has to be my favourite “exotic meats”.

If its chewy then its overdone. They were juicy the ones I had- they were frozen orginally. Check this site out: http://www.keziefoods.co.uk/products/altmeat

The Three Crowns in Brinkworth does ostrich (and crocodile, kangaroo etc etc) and when I had it it was delicious. Not chewy at all. No idea if it had been frozen or not.

I had camel sausages & Emu Burgers in Australia! The sausages were vile (I didn't like the texture of the meat) but the burgers were nice!

Not sure I like the idea of camel sausages, but I had a nibble on some camel toe on Friday night and it was very tasty

Emu and Ostrich are lovely, wild boar is also awesome, if you arent sure then have it as a burger first, crocodile I wasnt too keen on but the rest are freely available in a lot of gastro pubs.

I would recommend reindeer if you can get it. Had a steak in Finland a few years back and it was gorgeous.
