...according to a post on this Udders website... http://downatthemac.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=36747You have to register just to read the posts which is ultra gay but is worth doing. I've got to say that in 25 years plus of going to Town games, I have found our away support to be pretty damned good and pretty noisy. Obviously some games are going to be better than others and there are always certain grounds which we traditionally take loads to and others that aren't so popular. Like Udders in February I suppose. As some one once said.. ..thoughts?

Normally a team turns to having a go at the opposition support when they don't win. I think they call it sour grapes.

What do you mean though Reg, this season? The last few seasons? Because over the years (a lot of years) I think it's been bloody good.

I must admit, even if I had the time and money to go to today I probably still wouldn't have because:
It's a lot of miles to put on the car. I couldn't be arsed anyway.
I'm guessing many others felt the same so they probably have a point. IOB is right though, if they're making a massive thing of it, it's just sour grapes for not gaining ground on us.

I remember the time Huddersfield had all the Stratton Bank and the Arkells and tried to buy a lot of the home seat.
Oh wait, no I don't .

I'm not sure why but I've always felt there is something inherently shit in Huddersfield and their ground, mainly that they're a big club but shouldn't be. As a result, no one can be arsed going up there. I mean, we'd take a lot more than 400 up to Leeds wouldn't we, even if it was a midweek game?

About 20 more than we took there. Our home game was on Tuesday night also.

Hardly any. Which some one, who must have been a Town fan (of the Swindon variety) did point out. But their response was that it was a mid-week game and if the roles had been reversed and the game had been at Swindon today, they would have brought a thousand.
